09:54 am - Condo woes continue
We got the place now, closed Friday afternoon but not without more problems. We were set to close at 1:00 pm and at that time still didn't even have our closing costs yet, so we closed late. Went to the place last night to check it out and the previous owners left it a fucking mess. I will be getting some pics of it today and will probably post a few here. Of course I will be sending a not so happy email to the old owners with all of the pics I take. Only the husband was in town working on it so his wife had no idea what a terrible job he did "cleaning". So, now instead of packing up my old place today, Nikki and I have to spend the whole day throwing shit out and cleaning the new place before we can do anything else with it.

10:30 am - Condo update
Well, it looks like we will close this coming Friday. Of course we also thought that the last 2 Fridays so we shall see. But the lawsuit will not hold us up any longer so that is huge.

More of an update to come but the head of the association is the biggest asshat walking the face of the planet. Complaint to be filed with the Better Business Bureau once all is said and done.

09:33 am - Sue crazy ass-clowns must die!
Ok, update time.
Well, Nikki and I were set to close on our condo Thursday... however this is not the case now and the entire sale is in jeopardy. It would seem that some ass-clown is suing the condo association and due to this our financing may now fall through. Here is the best part; the party in question is suing because he tripped in his freaking back yard. His suit is against them because a tree outside of the property pushed up a brick in his yard (god forbid a tree actually take root or someone to actually take responsibility for fucking watching his step) in which he feel over! Now, this fuckhead is not only suing them for a ridicules claim but also is now affecting everyone else that is trying to buy or sell in the entire complex. He should be shot if for nothing else to put an end to this claim so I can buy my damn home!!!!
In other news, talked to Phil the other day for the first time in ages. I was glad to know all was well and it rocks that the line of communication was opened up again.

01:01 pm - Weekend update
Well, I am a year older. My birthday was Saturday and I turned 26 years old. Damn, I am getting to be an old man! lol
Anyway, my parents came up to Orlando for the weekend. I had taken it off from work so that Nikki, my folks, and I could find a place to have our rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding. Good lord was that a pain in the ass. Next to nothing had room for a party that size on a Friday night. We ended up finding this really nice family owned Italian place that we are going to use. I had never heard of them but they had great food and have been around for 22 years according to the owner. That makes for one more thing done for the wedding, but it did take all day Saturday.
Sunday Nikki and I met back up with my parents again and we all went to see Pirates. Cool movie, too bad we all have to wait another year for the third one. After that my parent headed back home to Stuart, they left here around 3.
Nikki and I then went to Khols and started to register for gifts. That was fun but we really didn't add too much... yet. It was an unplanned stop and we have not moved into our new place yet. Once we get in at the end of next month we will have a better idea of what we really will need.
Today, I am off again so I got a three-day weekend, which is nice. I got up this morn and went to Publix and picked up some fresh ingredients for dinner tonight. Right now I have some French onion soup cooking in the crock-pot. I made it about a week ago for the first time and it was REALLY good so I wanted to do it again. Also, Nikki and I picked up a forman grill last night that we have been wanting for a really long time so I am going to put it to use tonight. Got some fresh pepper, onion, and sausage and am going to grill all that up tonight. It is going to be a surprise for Nikki since our 2-year dating anniversary is tomorrow night.
With my down time this afternoon I am looking for a dj to host our wedding reception, that is the last major thing we really need to get for the actual wedding. I am a bit nervous but seem to be finding some that are still not booked up. In fact I just got as return call from one of my top possible picks and they are available that night. Looks like I am going to have to set an appointment to meet him.
Well, off to check the soup and make sure our little kitten is not getting into something that he shouldn't be.

03:12 pm - Pay issue?
Well, I guess I will have to wait and see what happens with this. I just got my new position at Best Buy and with it a jump in pay. I was told I would be getting 11 dollars and something like 20 cents an hour which is way up from the $8.24 i was making. However, I just checked my online pay stub for direct deposit and am showing a pay rate of $16.24. Now, what is up with that? I would love for that to be correct but of course it just can't be. I have sent an email to one of my managers asking just what in fact my new pay is supposed to be. Now I have not said anything about what I have seen online since that check is yet to be paid anyway, it was just future info. Now I shall sit back and see what happens and hopefully find out 100% what my new pay is really supposed to be.

12:07 pm - I am back!!
Well, I have neglected LJ for a very long time now and once again I am going to try and start using it. So here we go with some updates.
I am still living in the Orlando area, I am in Casselberry for those of you that are up to speed with this area. Nikki and I are on the verge of buying our own place, nothing fancy just a 2 bedroom condo but it will be ours. This will probably be finalized soon with us moving into the place in late Aug.
Our weeding plans are coming along, the date is Saturday Nov. the 11th so it is getting closer and closer these days. Still have a bunch of planning to do but the big stuff is mostly out of the way.
I graduated from UCF just a month or so back now so I am finally finished with school. Got my BS in Criminal Justice.
I am still working at Best Buy, in fact as of yesterday I got a promotion and will now be the Customer Service Senior for the new Best Buy for Business department at my store. More responsibility but a nice pay jump, so I am very happy about that.
Well, it is July so that means I have another birthday coming up. I will be turning 26 on the 15th... getting old lol.
Anyway, that for the most part is all the big stuff to catch back up.

Well, I bought a new computer last night from Best Buy!!!
What a great deal I got. We had some old floor models hanging around that my boss had marked down and put out to sale so I figured what the hell let me see what kind of deal I can get. I was looking a Sony Vaio that was marked down to $688. It's a P4 3 GHz machine with 512 ram (which I will add to for cheap soon) DVD and CD burner ect. Well, when I ask him he said $299. My jaw about hit the floor and I said I would take it. I was already VERRY happy about that and it only got better. When the store closed and I had someone ring me out I got a mail in rebate form for $100 back in the mail, so I will end up paying a total of $199 bucks for a P4 Sony Vaio!!!

10:13 am - Date?
Nikki and I have been looking over some possible times for some wedding thing ;-) Looking like it is going to be next December at this time. We had tossed around May, but that would have killed me since I would have had finals, graduation, then the wedding in a matter of 4 or 5 days. Trying to work around possible school schedules sucks!

Well everyone I have some major news to tell. As of This past Sunday AM, I am ENGAGED!
Sunday was Nikkis bday and I proposed after making her breakfast in bed. She said yes of course so now the planning stage will begin. First things first, picking a date!

12:17 pm - BLOOD!!!
WEll, the saga of the foot injury continues. I had to go have some blood taken this morn so that the doctor I went to last Monday can decide if I can go on the meds he wants to put me on for the fugal infection in my nail. I am still dealing with this crap and the damn injury was last December!!! I should have sued the arena, but I didn't / don't want to be one of the those money grubber sue happy freaks. Maybe I still should look into some kind of action however. I mean I am still dealing with it some 9 months later and may never be able to get rid of the infection (doc says only about 75 to 80 percent chance of getting rid of the fugal infection).

This just in, my orientation at Best Buy is Saturday at 3:00 pm. This is good news, I start work and that means a paycheck starts coming in again. I can afford to you know pay bills and stuff once again, this is a good feeling.
As for the last few days spent most of them either doing school work or playing WoW. I now have a lvl 16 (I think) night elf hunter on Argent Dawn. If any of you play and are on that server look up Ennead whom spend most his time right now on the Darkshore.

Well, here is the first real update that I have made to this thing is a long time. Not really sure just how much or how little I will end up putting here but whatever, it's a start.
I think one of the last things that I posted was that I had finally quit my job at the UCF Arena. Well, since that time I have not had another job :-( Of course part of that was planned seeing as I went on a month long road trip in June. We packed up my girlfriend’s car and she, her best girl friend, and I started our trek. We hit up so many national parks ect in our three plus week trip it was insane. We ended up as far as Vancouver BC, which as wee all know is a rather far drive from Orlando Florida. It was one hell of a trip and something that I will remember for the rest of my life. We did have one scare on the trip when a falling rock crashed into the windshield and siding of the car which I was driving at the time. No one was hurt but it did freak everyone out and caused some minor delays since the car needed repairs.
More recently I have moved to another new apartment, I have now done so every single year that I have been in the Orlando area. However, this time I find myself a resident of Seminole County for the first time as I now live in Casselberry. It is a nice two-bedroom apartment in which Nikki and I have the master bedroom and Allison (the same friend from the road trip) has the other room.
I am still attending classes at UCF, however I have cut back to part time school so I can find a job. Of course that has been done pending the results of my drug test, which I already know will be fine. I should start at Best Buy in the next week working on the PC department. That should be a fun job.
Still dealing with problems as a result of my foot injury at work back in December. In fact yesterday I had minor in office surgery on my toe to help correct and reduce the future chance of ingrown nails on the toe that I lost the nail. Obviously it has come back but is not in the best of shape. I also have a nail fungus now that is common when severe trauma to a nail occurs. The sucky part about that is there is only about a 75 to 80 percent chance of getting rid of it! Just what I wanted to hear. Oh and to make things worse, as result of the procedure yesterday my toe is all irritated and pussy now. All and all, fun stuff.
Well, I guess that about sums up the big stuff so I am going to rap this up. But this should be the start of the trend, I really do intend to keep up with this journal again.

well, I "feel" a little better as in the general sense that I don't feel like every ounce of my energy is being sucked out of me by some unseen force.... however I am still sick and just don't feel that good. My head is all congested, I am coughing and sneezing, my nose is running and or stuffed up, and sometimes when I swallow me head hurts. So, I am assuming that I an on the verge of an inner ear infection which I really hope I don't develop any further.
